Lauren Stringer, the wonderful artist who illustrated The Princess and her Panther, is exhibiting at the Anderson Center at Tower View, Minnesota. I love reading articles where I find out more interesting things about my friends! If you happen to be in the area, do go and see the exhibition - if you've seen any of her books, you know that her pictures are wonderful, but the original art is something else again. I think it also surprises people to see just how much bigger the originals are than the illustrations in the book. (At least it surprised me, the first time I saw a picture book illustration. I'd always presumed they'd be the same size as they're shown.)
The clocks look amazing too. Wish I could go!
