I promised my agent I wouldn't spend all my time chatting here when I have a huge deadline - at least a huge amount of writing to do before the deadline - but thanks so much to everyone for all these comments and emails.
Not that my agent's a dragon! She just knows me well, and knows I've been stressing about getting everything done in the next few months - so I'm going to try to go back to my usual practice of just answering emails once a week. When people are so friendly, it's very tempting just to read and answer right away, but when I do that, somehow at the end of the day, the new manuscript's blank page is still blank...
So just to let you know I'm appreciating it all, even if I don't seem as speedy at replying as would be nice!Labels: emails
